Ten short films in the series Berlinale Shorts Go Abroad of the
International Film Festival of Berlin will be screened at Cafe Thu Bay
coffee shop this weekend.
A mobile film projection scheme aiming to screen free short films to
the public is officially launched today in Ha Noi by the The Viet Nam
Cinema Association''s Centre for Assistance and Development of Movie
Talents (TPD) and Viet Nam New Media Group.
To mark the official visit of Klaus Wowereit, mayor of Berlin, artists
will present an interactive German culture programme in the capital
city''s new art hub, Zone 9, this Sunday.
Three award-winning films at a recent national short films contest for
school students will be invited to take part in an international film
festival for Asian Children at the end of November in Minamuawaji
Province, Japan.
The Institute of Cultural Exchange with France (IDECAF) will present
three short films made by directors from the La Femis Film School of
France to celebrate the 20th anniversary of its establishment on April
13.
Hollywood director Phillip Noyce will judge the 48-Hour Film (48HFP) Project Viet Nam 2012.Noyce,
who achieved fame with many recent blockbusters such as Salt, The Quiet
American, The Bone Collector, Dead Calm and Patriot Games, has agreed
to help out with the competition...
